Intrinio just launched its very first episode of Fintech, What the Heck?, a podcast dedicated to all things fintech. Watch the episode below and check out some highlights!

Fintech News (0:26)

Intrinio has been getting tons of requests from clients for a new data feed - one that tracks the trades of Congress. This brings up the interesting, and concerning, idea that some legislation may be passed for personal gain and has been a popular topic of discussion on Twitter.

From the Experts (4:10)

Senior content creator Chelsea Caltuna answers some of Andrew’s questions about writing and content creation. Here are her top tips for content marketing:

  1. Make your content simple and easy to understand.
  1. Repurpose content so it’s available in different forms like blogs, videos, and social posts.
  1. Update past content to make sure all links work and product information is still relevant.

You Should Know (25:53)

Andrew sits down with Intrinio co-founder and CEO Rachel Carpenter to discuss the beginnings of Intrinio, the future of fintech, and what it's really like running a startup. Here’s some advice she gave for fellow startup founders and aspiring entrepreneurs:

  1. Prioritize one thing a week and dive headfirst into that.
  1. Learn how to say no.
  1. Hire people that aren’t afraid to speak up and call out inefficiencies, at every level.
